Astronomical

Visual aids can allow one to better understand and retain the information being presented, especially when the subject matter can be very technical. In a college astronomy class, I had trouble understanding the material when only reading or listening to the lectures, so I liked to visually map-out the concepts in the margins of my notes in order to learn the subjects better and create reference tools. I later designed a series of posters using vector art and graphics based on the topics in my astronomy class. I played with typefaces that I thought would evoke science and technology, like a futuristic computer showing the findings of collected data. I used a circular motif in many of these posters to keep a consistent visual language as well as to reference the idea of orbiting objects in space.
